Major developers and house builders of the Bexhill area between 1924 and 1988, RA Larkin and Bros. Ltd named the road. They were known to use family connections and memorable occasions in their chosen street names and it is believed that Concorde Close took its name from a family member who was lucky enough to have travelled by Concorde on a trip of a lifetime!
